I had the same problem getting water spots off my truck. I used a glass cleaner called "no touch" only thing that worked for me.

It is illegal in Washington state on some years of vehicles from what the state patrol told us. Somewhere in the 50s was the cutoff if I remember correctly.

I have a spare rear glass from my 67 in case anything happens.

Our two local glass co wanted $800+ said they would have to get it from a restoration specialist... I got a new one off ebay. Windshield, seal, and install came to less than $500. The glass has one line of distortion but not too bad for the price.

I vote valiant. Trust me the looks on peoples faces are priceless.

I love the puzzled look on peoples faces when they first see my 67/68 valiant. But my favorite was at the first car show I took it to after getting it done, was a hot little blonde in her twenties turns to her boyfriend and say "This is nice. I love this car."

Just goes to show that there are a lot of great people on FABO and why its one of few sites that I view daily.

I have AMD bumpers on my 68 valiant and I'm very pleased with them. They cost half of what I was quoted to have my originals rechromed.
