I have an original dual point from my 273 Commando. Can you convert it to a Pertronix 2. also does anyone have or know where to find a rebuild guide/ instructions for that distributor (If I can't convert I'll rebuild it and sell)? It is just like the picture below I got off the internet.

The original orange box and an Accel coil (with custom bracket) were already mounted in those spots so I just chose to keep them there. I'll take a look on those sites. Funny you mention them as my dad build a Thorpe T18 and I have seen those sites before. Thanks for the info.

Ok so here is the final wiring for the FBO box and coil. Hopefully a little cleaner. If anyone see anything wrong let me know as I am still learning wiring. Also, Does anyone make covers for the coil terminals?

Can I mod the drivers side to take the 67 style holders?

So I got the FBO box and wow! The car now runs really strong. Zero misfires and smooth as glass pedal to the floor. So happy I got it!

Here is a pic of the driver and passenger side covers. Oddly they have 2 different types of wire holders?! I am going to change the drivers side to the "w" type if wire holders. The MSD wires fit in those.

Do you know who makes them for stock wires?

I am moving from stock type wires to MSD 8.5 spark plug wires. On my Commando there are small plastic grommets that hold the wire to the valve cover. I love the way that looks. Does anyone make these? I have them circled in the photo.

Has anyone used the HGRR688 ignition box? I have heard good things about the Rev-N-Nator but the HRR688 looks interesting. Any thoughts on it or a comparison would be welcome.

I'd like to out a tach in my '67 Barracuda where the factory vacuum guage is. Has anyone doe that? I see that Classic industries has one but wondered what it takes to do it.
