    Old lady clutch pedal

Mike if I'm not mistaken changing it would actually make the pedal stiffer. I believe he's talking about extending the clutch side of the lever so when you push the pedal down it moves farther (increased ratio). Correct me if my thinking is wrong Moparisbest.

From a 73 three speed on the floor to a a833od?

Don't know, I'm an automatic guy. Try posting your question in the Manual Transmission forum since it's a question about a manual trans. You'll likely get a lot more responses there. GL

NON MOPAR: clutch is not disengaging

Bad slave cylinder, no fluid in slave cylinder, air in slave cylinder system. Gotta be something to do with the slave cylinder as it's what disengages the clutch. First thing to do is check the fluid level. btw; the clutch grins??? Must be happy I guess, LOL...

    What tranny is this?

Ed I don't know much about manual transmissions but I looked up the casting # on the bellhousing and it says it's from a 72-73 A, B, or E body with a 10-1/2" clutch so it should work in your car. Can't say much for the trans. as I can't see it well in the pic and even if I did I don't know what...

    Cutting down an axle tube

BlueMissle I have to agree with the guys that it is most likely not truly straight, sorry to say. As stated very few used housings are straight to begin with so even if you get lucky enough to get it back as straight as it was it's still not real straight. Even if you can assemble it the...

8 3/4 rear clunk when brakes are applied

I ran across one doing that once and it was loose bolts holding on the backing plates. Tightened up the bolts and it was fine. Luckily it wasn't driven long that way or they would have been wallered out. Something else easy for you to check.

Need help identifying a bellhousing and flywheel

I pickup up a bellhousing and the part # on it is 3333728. Can anybody help me identify what this was used on/in? I was told it is a SB bell and hope it is but I haven't had a chance to verify that yet. Also got a flywheel with it and would love to know what it was off of but unfortunately they...
