I noticed that too when I looked at them. It's probably the manufacturers fault telling them they'll ship the part on a date then not doing it but it's still aggravating when JEGS don't even let you know.

That's exactly why I don't buy from JEGS anymore. They jacked me around 3 or 4 yrs. back then the service rep got smart with me on the phone. I've had stuff back ordered from Summit and they always let me know if the delay is going to be longer.

That bites. Did you try any of the trans. shops like Andrews racing, Cope racing, A&A, etc...?

Looks great Scott. You may already know this but if you can find some old blankets or bed sheets to throw over the fenders (inner and outer) they'll help a lot to reduce the scratches/nicks when assembling it cause I guarantee a wrench will slip or you'll drop something on that nice new paint...

I'm not sure on a Billet piece either but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Any idea what let go first, or is it too bad to tell? If your cam isn't too bad you might be able to get it welded up and reground. I don't know what kind of cam it is but I know Racer brown did a repair for a buddy of mine. You might check with the manufacturer.

Man that's fugly brother! Scott another thing to keep in mind when a fuel flood situation occurs is the oil can become severely diluted by all the gas so you should change the oil before racing again.

Sorry to be repetitive about using an auxiliary cooler. I didn't notice it was already mentioned.

Unfortunately I've never worked on a cable shift TF at all but I have read that if the cable is out of adjustment it can do crazy things like pulling in drive. I don't have a service manual for an early A so I don't know the cable adjustment procedure but that's the first thing I'd check out...
