It is a small dual pin stipe ran along the top of the fender, door and quarter. My Scamp thread has pics but is is old and they are not visible in every post now.
I believe you are correct. The tuff wheel is “flat” so it required the can to push it towards the driver. Most wheels have the angle built into the structure moving it back. Once you remove the wheel you will see the can is attached like any other wheel would be.
Trunk will mount but the lock is different. Functional but different. Can’t picture the rest but I do have some of the sections I have saved off parted out cars.
I agree with triple r. Some people don’t like certain things and others do. Cruise by if it offends so much. We all do exactly that every day several times. But this topic is “special”.

Thank goodness they are OK. Wow, they are lucky, but it looks like he threw some angle into the hit which likely helped them out. The car took it like it had a crumple zone. That will be a bit of work, but well worth it.

I would venture to say you have a fairly rust free body there. Rockers, quarters and fenders all look good. Inner fenders look good. Fender tops look good. I would bet 25cents the frame rails are mint and the crossmember is as well. The only place to look closer would be the roof under the...
