so the second wire stays the same size and still connects to the coil right

it could now be 180 out again... but ok on early gm it had 2 wires hooked together going to the + side of the old coil so i need to trace which on back to the bulkhead....i was reading somewhere i need to replace the wire going to my ign switch with a 14 gauge wire...thats all the way to the key...

first off im working on the sister in laws car and its a chevy 283 from 1967...we need a forum for non mopar stuff...i know there alot of mechanics among the crowd here so here we go. i dropped a new hei dizzy into the 283 and wired the hot wire to the coil...im trying to find out if i need to...

i have no one local to do that and there is no numbers on these cams that reference to anything i can find... i know there comp cams but i called comp and they have no clue lol

ok if i have a block apart i can jut swap the cams and figure out the degree with a cam dial

How do you get lift and duration of a cam...What tools do you use

test your connections as stated above...you never know what kind of cridders decided to eat at your wires...im willing to bet its your spark

well all i found out was the lunati cam got the specs for it... is there somewhere i can send these to get them checked out?

i received mine doa... i called skip white and with in 2 days received the part to fix it at no cost to me they walked me through what they thought might be wrong and stayed in contact with me until they knew they had it right... that being said if you do receive a "bad" one just call them...

well i took mine out so i could use the msd box...only 6 mths old and only started under 10 times
