i am trying to convert the 73/10 to 240/33...i bought custom gauges and have to convert it over to the gm style/universal style so it will work with my gauge. all i need to do is pull out the sending unit and replace it with a universal one

im looking to change my fuel tank sending unit from 73/10 to 240/33 and i just need to know a few things before i order the parts...i have a 72 dodge demon so any body that has the same unit will work...does the actual sender come off the tube? or is it spot welded on

ok so which sending unit...i think i might of forgot something...i ordered a sending unit of 240/33 to match the gauge but on my demon do i not need the fuel line built into the sender as well????

so i know these have a set up for a chevy but will they bolt in on a 340 and if not what kind of brackets would i need to get... does anyone have any experience with this set up

ok im having same issue but i just changed the points style to hei setup so i got rid of the ballast resistor is there some kind of diagram for that

yes rotor is on and i finally got some spark but still no fire on the motor...have a full 12v both on and trying to start...not even trying to start and it ran fine before im so confused
