How to ship a 66 B body fender?

I've seen topics like this before but never paid attention until it now involved me! I need to ship a Belvedere fender from south GA to Iowa. I'm certain Fedex & UPS do not handle anything that large? What are the pros and cons of Greyhound? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance! Greg

I would think that if you have the 73-up steel bumper reinforcements with the shock absorbers you could bolt/weld directly to the bumper brackets!

    A-body Motor Swap question

The early left A body manifold was a bolt on fit and works on all 67-76 A bodies PS or manual. You don't have to get it from me. It's common and came on every 318 A body from 67-72. It's going to be your cheapest and easiest fix.

    A-body Motor Swap question

IS it a factory 76 A BODY manifold? The B/E bodies did not use the manifold I pictured. It pulls out away from the engine and has a cutout for the steering knuckle to clear exactly what you are talking about

    A-body Motor Swap question

What did you do for mounts? did you use a v8 k frame or conversion mounts? Also factory v8 a bodies had a special left exhaust manifold to clear the box. The one in your pic doesn't look right. here are some pics: Also this one is on the load to Carlisle. It it's what you need it's $75 plus the...

    Carlisle hot spots.......

Actually this is an untold secret but some of us vendors start setting up Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. There are no gate guards or admission until Thursday so you walk right in! The listed start date is FRIDAY. As a vendor, I sell quite a bit on Wednesday and Thursday is a better day than...

Need to get my rimblow or my cash back

Paypal is operating a business whose very existence depends on public trust. In a world of social media a company's reputation can be ruined with a single post. If they offer a "friends and family" service that gets abused by internet con artists they have a HUGE stake in the matter. Even if the...

Greg. The op would be wasting his time, with Pay Pal. Pay Pal isn't going to do a damm thing about it, as many others have already tried, going thru the same situation. Sorry, but the op should have paid thru goods and services and paid the 3% fee for the protection You are absolutely right...

Need to get my rimblow or my cash back

Problem is that I sent $$ as a gift. Yeah, that's about the same as a Western Union cash transfer. I would STILL probably call Paypal and tell them how he duped you into it and file a complaint and ask if they've had any other problems with him. The right sob story could get you some help or...

    Macini Racing...Paypal

Paypal may soon be a thing of the past. It was started by Ebay years ago, then the two companies separated. NOW Ebay is phasing out Paypal and promoting Google Pay. IN a year or so, Ebay will not allow Paypal payments at all.

    Green bearings or stock adjustable

TAs and AARs did not EVER come with green bearings. They were built to run ralleys from the factory. No conversion needed. I am old enough to have run and built a few 70s Mopars IN the actual 70s. As a teen, I ordered all the performance and "hop up" information available at the time. I don't...

    Green bearings or stock adjustable

I could be proven wrong but I do not recall any time where the Dana 60 or 8 3/4 ever used straight roller bearings from the factory. I could argue that the AAR Cudas and the TA Challengers which were built from the factory for road racing would NEVER have come with green bearings

    Green bearings or stock adjustable

I remember my teens in my mother's 71 Fury wagon with a 360 two barrel. I was the KING of road racing! I did 80 plus MPH runs over humps to get all 4 wheels in the air (long before Dukes of Hazard) then slammed it into low gear to turn the car sideways and slide through 90 degree bends. There...

    Green bearings or stock adjustable

Stock bearings are readily available through bearing distributors like Kaman. They are generally sold by bearing number, not application. There are a lot of opinions but it's basically engineering. Are you driving the car more on winding roads or at the drag strip? Green bearings are designed...

    1971 Dodge Demon Delcamino

I once did that to a 73 Chrysler Town & Country wagon. Called it "El Chryslero". Leather interior, 440, AC, etc. The "two way" tailgate was awesome for a pickup. We used that truck for a swap meet hauler for several years.

Just a note for everyone planning to approach Paypal about this guy. It would be a great idea to use A LINK TO THIS THREAD when making a complaint to Paypal. Mystery part, where does it go?

You shouldn't have to remove the mount or the crossmember, just the bolts. After the bolts are out, lift the trans off the crossmember with a floor jack just enough to get the weight off the mount. You can hold the rectangular washers in place from the back while you guide the bolt through the...
