    In September I went to a car show in Houston. There was a guy there with a 64 Valiant convertible. It was very similar to my convertible so I was asking him about it. He bought it a couple weeks prior to the show for $18,500. 225 slant with PB auto,Signet trim. It was a nice clean car.

    I let my grandson drive my Barracuda and I asked him what he thought. His response in full sincerity was " How much do you think it would be worth in a trade for a used Civic or WRX?     Yes, the descriptions provided above for a 64 Valiant convertible are correct. Value depends to a very large degree on condition. Since the side pieces are pot metal rechroming is pretty expensive. Superfineshine in Chillicothe OH did mine and they look excellent, in case someone wants to buy...

    64 Valiant Convertible

    Forgot to mention.... I already got the seat belts I'm going to install. They came from JC Whitney. They have a chrome flip top buckle that looks pretty correct. The piece that inserts has notches on the sides insted of the two square holes but once they are buckled they look pretty similar...
