I have been thinking more about it and I agree that the 4 speed cars had them.When thinking on those lines maybe you all will remember the washer that is welded on the front in the middle of the K frames.I know they were put on 340 4speed cars, but don't remember why.

My 70 duster 340 4 speed has them and I don't remember if my 73 dart sport had them or not

Phil is right. The last a bodies to have a factory tach was 1971duster 340 with the rally dash. You had to pay extra for it also.

I know that the factory paint for the FC7 was crappy. I had a new 70 that was that color and after 2 or 3 years the paint was peeling starting out on the roof. It really made a fairly new car look bad seeing all the primer showing thru.
