Need more info are you trying to treat new seams or old ones? If they are new I always spray weldable primer between the panels before I weld them. If it's old seams I use seam sealer on them after removing any old seam sealer. But thats all I got

My vote is with everyone else get the roof from another car and see if you can fix it then your on the road new paint and vinyl top and if you do nothing you can part out what's left of the car. Good Luck

I use por-15 they have a product that will let you seal the rusted area and still put primer and paint over it. If you get the original formula you will be hating life trying to scuff it up to put primer on it and make it stick. It took me about 20 hours to scuff the floors in my 67 barracuda...
