What's the deal? I see that NOBODY has commented on the Passon A-855 lately. The posts seem to have ended in late November, hasn't there been any more A-855's sent out? Just curious.

Contact Todrod on that. There's considerable work to be done, that's why so many are interested in the Passon even though its a 5-speed. The Tremec six speed is bigger, wider and takes up more space, period, but when finished, it's a very nice transmission.

Sure wish that someone could make conversions that could be used on the automatic console. I've got an automatic console in my car but will be going manual and would like to use a console. Anyone with any ideas?

I have no idea as to when I will get mine, but I'm sure that it won't be until next Summer at the earliest. My project is behind schedule now, and I don't see me needing before then. I've toyed with the idea of putting me at the back of the list NOW, but I'll work that out with Jamie later...

I took a second look at that too for my upcoming project. That's almost a $4k difference for one more gear in their 5 speed. Yes, I realize that there's a lot of differences between the two other than one gear and aluminum, but rather tempting just to get something going when my time comes...

Didn't one of the car magazines test one of these 5-speeds for over a year on a Duster/Demon big block? According to what I read, they broke a couple of rear ends, but that the transmission held up just fine. They had absolutely nothing that they complained about, and if they broke rear ends...
