There seems to be a bind up, on closing my trunk. I am thinking someone installed them wrong or they are bent. Does anyone have pix of the way they work, or any info on these. Are convertible rods different than notchback?

I believe that is the hook and it will go on top or underneath the base.

I finished mine today. I left the lug chrome, just to have a little more bling. I am glad I know the right way to do them. When it's ready for concourse, I will change it.
