BMF is the sheet, and done with some patients comes out very realistic. It can also be used to wrap faded bumpers. Awesome builds everyone! Thanks for adding to my thread. All my stuff is packed away at the moment due to my upcoming move. Cant wait to unpack and display my collection again.:blob:

There is a 70 Dart rerelease...Hemi somthing..it has a blown Hemi in the trunk. That might be my best bet. I would just have to do some scratch building for sure.

I was just going through some of my stuff after a year layoff. I need to get the bug again. I have been saving parts for my Swinger build but don't want to spend the 40$ on the resin body. Hoping for some kind of rerelease. There is some great talent here as you have seen and I look forward to...

The testors will work better as it actually melts the plastic together. I used snap type cloth pins to hold together while it dried(24 hours). Try and make your first cut with the saw and shape with the dremel. The straighter the line the better the bond. Also hit each surface with an emory type...

You are a brave mad cutting that with a dremel. I have done it that way but its tough to get the cut straight in line across and you end up sanding more to get the edges square. Here is the type of saw I use now. Mustang IIs are not a common kit. Lindburg did make a concept stangII but the...

Man thats steep ocdart. I haven't been to the hobby shop in over a year. I was lucky with mine. Back in the mid 90's I was buying the green pro mod kits for $5 at Big Lots(discount closeout store), gave a bunch to kids as gifts but still have some. The DOHC set up is cool. I think someone here...

Bummer on that Zach. It would have looked BA! Put it on the back burner for awhile and come back to it, sometimes that helps me. I have been trying to pro street a VW kit I have and its going to need alot of cutting and scratch building. :clock::clock::clock::clock:

This is the cut. I like the detail of the Revell front suspension over the AMT. I could have finished the frame work better and still might, maybe add frame connectors all the way to the tubs.

I have grafted the SB PS tubbed rear section to about four differant kits. I also grafted a Matt Hayes PS T-Bird tub to a Stang with great results. I usually cut them at the frame supports making sure both side are square and then glue together, use cloths pins to hold in place and reinforce if...
