    383/440 Front Motor Plate???

    Mill the water pump housing down 1/4 of an inch,the thickness of the plate. This will align the pullies and use a good waterpump. I had good luck with flowcooler w/p.

    Under mopar motorplate on ebay theres a choice of small block plate or big block for $109. I have seen used ones for $40.Ill keep my eyes open.

    I would check the distributor your using and see when full advance is coming in. I like the mp units,simple,fast curve and no worries. I think the mp units are calibrated for full advance by 2000 rpm.
