    No Valiant Love?

I had this one for a few years. 273/4 spd, bucket seat car. Drove the crap out of it. The bottom 6in of the car was bondo. Sold it but by the time the guy reached the end of my block, I regretted it. Bought my current one 5 months later. Lol

    No Valiant Love?

Love the ‘64 Valiant! I’ve had 3 of them. All hardtops. I have one right now…6 cylinder 4 spd. Next year it gets a 360 mag trans plant

what clutchfan 65 dart 273ci with air ?

I just went through this. The car (‘64 Valiant 2743/4spd) had a fan clutch on it when I bought it. I changed to an aluminum radiator and the brackets pushed it closer to the engine. I had to use the 2947 clutch to get it to fit. Then the fan was clipping the upper hose. The problem was the upper...

Update on '65 Valiant drivetrain swap

Nice little car. If you can swing it, I would recommend the brake master cylinder from Dr Diff. I just put one in my car today and I’m impressed with it. If you have to change the torsion bars, get the 1.03’s from PST. I have them and they are great. Firms up the ride but not to the point of...

    Tightwad!

I was at Classic a few weeks ago and priced out covers and foams for my ‘64 Valiant buckets. $514 for covers and $239 for foams. I also priced out the rear seat cover $339 (iirc). Sticker shock for sure! I’ve looked at other more modern seats that I would have upholstered to mimic the...

Drop Spindles - PST vs. Magnum Force vs. Fatman vs. ?

I did the 1.03 bars and an alignment with the specs off of the soche (think that’s how it’s spelled) chart. Wow what a difference! My only complaint is my front is very noisy. I still need to get some good shocks but I’m waiting to get a new steering box first. I can’t wait to see how good...

    No dash lights working

I’ll check that out. I got it apart and sanded/cleaned all the connections on it. The gas gauge works now! I need a new temp sender so I can’t tell if that’s working. I now have working front turn signals and turn indicator, dash lights and gas gauge! I’m not going to know how to act! Lol...

    Roller...

I’m jealous!! Lol. Looks really good! I want that suspension bad! Look at Silver State for the trans. I was recently quoted $5414 for a complete trans swap. And I mean complete...every nut and bolt, fluids, clutch, bell housing, driveshaft, hydro throw out conversion, etc., etc.,

    No dash lights working

I just did this. Mine was a combo of a bad headlight switch, bad bulbs and bad connections. I had to lightly sand the circuit board and the bulb socket contacts. Now to figure out why my gauges work when they want.

1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

When I pull the knob the headlights come on in the first click and then the high beams in the second click, where the headlights should come on normally. Edit...actually the high beams come on first and then the low beams.

    Early A interest.

I've always been a 67-69 Abody guy. My parents brought me home from the hospital in a ‘68 Gts 340. I’ve always wanted to clone it. I’ve had a ‘68 2dr post dart and a ‘68 GTS 340 convert clone in the past. I wanted a cheap old car that the kids, gf and I all fit into. The gf doesn’t like the...

USCT Level 2 kit for Early As!!!

Did you feel a difference in the chassis of your car after all that was done? I like the front fender brace but the holes bother me in the fact, that they will collect dirt and road grime. That could lead to rust

    Toyota spindles?

'79-'94 2wd pickups Rwd Celica's All have the same bolt pattern (5x4.5). Those are UCA/LCA style suspensions. These are the only possibilities. I have heard that Toyota spindle rumor before. The only to know is to measure them and compare to the mopar
