I have been trying to get a new set of nitto 555 extreme drag for 3 years now but i can't find them anywhere i can only find the much more expensive 555R and from what i have read they are more of a road race tire or am i wrong on this ?

well they did have a line of 15 '' 555 extreme drag i run the 325 50 15 and love them

i done a set of rally's up 25 years ago and they still look great . i used mopar performance rally wheel paint great stuff

did any of the slight dullness disappear over the last 24 hrs ? and also they look great .

I think your getting close I think mine are a 5 inch so a 6 might put you inside the quarter lip like you want .

a 325 50 15 will easily fit in a mini tubed wheel well with the right back space the leaf springs will need to be moved in more than a 1'' offset . just a guess but I would say 2 to 2 1/2 ''

555R maybe tour traction issues are suspension related just a thought

I run Nitto 555 and am very pleased with them

I had near all the drag radials on the go and found the nitto's the best for me ...great hook ..good on the wet pavement and last 3x's longer than it's closest competitor and they corner very good .

if its 90% street nitto's hands down .

I would paint the road with it .......then I got thinking it's really not worth a quarter panel ...possibly .

on a 10'' rim the tread width is 12.5'' on a 325 50 15 nitto . I just measured mine .

nice rims I thought mastercraft were Canada only . they will look good on your car

I think a 255 60 15 would be what you want but the 275 will fit with the right backspace . I thought they made more choices for the 15 inch .

The nittos may have a slight disadvantage in traction but they last longer than any other drag radial . I have 5000 miles on a set with a few nice burnout's and still at 50%.they are 325\50\15. They are a great choice for a mostly street driven car I will be using them again .
