Does anyone know the what size the front eye bolt is on Hotchkis A body springs.

Did you originally torque the leafs with the suspension on the ground . If not loosen everything and retorque. And if you did it correctly I would still loosen bolts and retorque. I have had the same problem. Also depending on which front spring eye bracket you have it may not be compressing...

Something I have watched over the years is the aftermarket k frames might gain you coil overs and rack an pinion you cant run a very wide tire up front not much more than a 235. Stock suspension modded fronts can get up to a 295 tire.

Nice car. GMachine, Im curious. Whos offset spring bracket are you using. If mopar did you remove the welded nut and redrill and weld new nut. Buy raising the eye location did you also have to enlarge hole in frame since this raises the attachment bolt higher on the bracket. Thanks

Should be fine you just use the supplied hardware. I cant as my springs are offset. I dont know if im going to use them or send them back. I will have to relocate my spring perchs to stock location.

Stock 340 springs they use 5/8 bolt. You can see the difference in the bracket comparison picture.

Hotchkis springs use a 1/2 inch bolt. Factory 5/8 inch. I have Mopar offset spring kit that uses 5/8 bolt. I can not use the springs. With the frame relocation kit I think it would be no problem.

Well after trying different ideas it does not look like I can use the Tvs Hotchkis springs with the mopar offset spring hangers. I am sending them back.

Im just going to drill another hole in bracket for the new bolt size. Trouble is it will lower the car a little more on top of the 1 inch drop with the hotchkis springs.

I just bought rear Hotchkis springs. Problem they wont bolt into the offset front spring eye bracket. DC bracket uses larger bolt. Anyone have the offset bracket thats done this. I have an Idea how I am going to deal with it I just wondered if anyone else has dealt with this yet. Thanks

Steve in your photos of your front suspension it looks like you arent using the lower control arm bumpstop. I have seen alot of people delete this. I ask because with my suspension adjusted I have about 3/8 clearance.

I have read article there is no mention of front torsion bar change. Or what bar they are running. This was a change from drag race suspension to handling. I think the rate of the torsion bars would be important.
