    I thought it was an A body rear end?

    Some food for thought.... They never built any A-body rearends with the big bolt circle. If you've got one with the big pattern then it was either modified, (aftermarket axles or redrilled flanges) or it's not out of an A-body.

    Mine does the same thing, but I think it just doesn't get drove enough - done did the carb rebuild. But then again, I bought the carb used in 1987, so maybe it's time to REPLACE said mixing unit. I'm pretty sure there are better ones out there...

    To the question "How's it drive on the street?", well, personnally I think it can be a handfull. You have to take into account that there is no longer any rubber in the rear suspension, so now you feel AND hear every bump in the road. Having a spool doesn't make for good cornering, however...
