line lock dosnt seem to work ?

I'm just throwing this out there since you have never used one before and may not be too sure of the operation. You have to push hard on the brake pedal before you operate the line lock. The line lock only holds the pressure in the line it does not apply the brakes. Of course this still would...

line lock dosnt seem to work ?

If the light is dull and the solenoid doesn't sound like it's operating properly I would guess either a poor wiring connection on the solenoid wiring or a weak battery. Meter the 12 volt wire on the solenoid while your activating it to make sure the voltage isn't dropping. Have you ever used a...

    Line Lock Stuck last night

I've had this happen to me and it would release if I pushed on the brake pedal. After replacing the line lock solenoid everything worked as it should again.

    Good day racing!

Here are some shots from this weekend. These links were posted on the OSCA web site. There is one for sure of your car Dave and a couple of Scott's. I haven't looked at all of the pics yet. https://www.flickr.com/photos/76993172@N06/sets/72157644216618868/show...

    NHRA regulations

Keep it simple. Slower than 11.49 if it's not a vert all you need is a helmet and if you run a slick you need a drive shaft loop. Keep any fuel lines and fuel regulators off the firewall. If it's auto make sure the neutral safety switch works. Rear fuel cell requires a firewall. Rear mounted...

Need advice for slowing my car down consistently.

I was successful in slowing my previous car down from the 9.90 to the 10.90 class. The car full out would run 9.76. Anyway I had a 5000 stall too so I used a combination of removing throttle, lowering my shift points to 5300 from 5800 and setting my 2 step on the stall to 2200. In 9.90 it was a...

    Top End Miss

That doesn't seem right to me since you are using an MSD box. From what I understand the Mopar pickup is basically the same as the MSD pickup and MSD recommends a setting of .018" to .030" http://c452191.r91.cf2.rackcdn.com/images/bccx/image/84661_frm30015.pdf That being said those pickups...

    Top End Miss

Yes, it is possible to have the gap too small. On my previous race car I changed the msd pickup and went to a digital 6 ignition at the same time and it developed a miss at around 5700 rpm and my tach being triggered off of the box would sometimes trigger the shift light at the wrong time. I...
