A few things come to mind. Are you runing radial tires on the back as well? Mixing them with bias ply can have adverse handeling problems. How much play is in your steering gear? If it loose it could cause the problem. How much play is in your pitman arm and idler arm? Excessive play in either...

You can use a fork to get the pitman arm out of the center link.

You are aware the upper BJ's screw into the arms, not pressed in. They require a special socket but a pipe wrench will work. You'll probably have to apply a little heat to the control arm if the joints look rusted in.

Its going to be another fork like the one used for tie rods only larger. Are replacing the ball joints, or just removing the spindle?

Are you trying to replace the whole mount, or are the bushings just shot? The mounts look like the same ones I have on my 440 67 cuda. I just bought and installed new bushing in the steel mount, got them from Summit.
