    Mini starters

    Mini if you are running headers. Barely can fit a mini in and out of my headers (one car has Doug's and other car TTI) unless I am doind something wrong. Factory exhaust manifold I would still run a mini off of a dakota. I am cheap and they are plentiful at my local junkyards.

    I pull mine because that's the way I was taught over 30 years ago with a stick welder. Now I have a mig and still pull mine but gave saw many certified welders pull when using stick but push when Tig welding.

    I have installed front and rear in a couple of darts with my oldest son who is now 15. No leaks drips or errors. I used 3M butyl, rope, soapy water, and a tool pictured above .Take your time and it will go perfectly fine.

    Yes TSP is trisodium phosphate. I use it if I have it handy and if not I wash it with phosphoric and water. It hasn't came back to haunt me using either the TSP or diluted phosphoric wash.

    Give it a try doing it yourself. I roped in my back glass on my 72 Dart with the help of my 11 y/o son and he also helped me install the front glass as well. This was the first time for windshield installation for the both of us.

    If you had a 72 and up A body there are a few companys that made a after market panel with the holes already cut in it. I purchased one on here a month or so ago that I will install later. For earlier years I am not sure about. you may have to make one.

    Dart Painted bumpers

    I will be painting mine flat black. Thought about painting them body color but decided not too. My car is painted PPG lime twist with a gold pearl. I love the chrome look but there are no local chrome shops. I have a spare set that I will eventually have chromed when $$$ allows

    All you Mopar and non Mopar owners I wish you the best with the upcoming storm.I will be moving my car to the south side of my home away from trees. My project is painted but in pieces so that must all be put in the shed. I am in Mobile Alabama and watching closely.
