i had a fresher perfectly working 727, it sat 6 years i installed in a new car, new build seemed fine, less than 300 miles, reverse started feeling real lazy. the fluid was dark and smelling burnt. TOTAL rebuild... seemed fine drove 1500 miles ,made a hand full of 12.o passes. then lost...

fresh rebuild new high reverse drum. new clutches bands etc works fine shifts, kicks down fine.. but when it shifts to drive or when i put it in reverse, it make an eirnt type rub squeek... for a brief second what could this be? and am i hurting it by still driving it?
