Based on the part number starting with 28 its first usage would have been in 1968. With that being said it could have also been used in subsequent year.

I think that they will be fine. I do some stupid stuff sometimes . I bought the stripes for my ‘cuda when I first started to restore it and 16 years later we put them on the car. Now if they were original NOS stripes I would not install them.

Did your car have the stripe with the 340 call out? If so it wouldn’t have had the 340-S emblem. It would only have the Barracuda script.

You have the correct ones for a 69.

Just cut them off flush and drill new holes a 1/4” away from the old hole.

My hood on my Barracuda sat like that for years after I changed the motor. I sold the car and just before the transporter picked it up I made this very adjustment. It sat perfectly after that making me wonder why I didn’t do it years before that.

They used those same studs in the header panels for the Cordoba and the LeBarron or any of the Mopars that used the fiberglass style header panels.
