    Idiot light modification ?

    I've done it. you have to cut the IP to fit a gauge in, use the same wire that worked the idiot light. then change the oil light switch to a sensor on the block. the premise is simple, but will test your skills at mounting a gauge in the dash.

    RHS heads with 1.44" O.D. valvespring?

    I used PRM stainless rockers 1.6 ratio, with eddy heads. Had to grind just a small amount on underside of the rocker. Pollish-up real good after grinding, so as not to creat a fracture point. Holds up well at 7k!

    Your not supposed to measure deck hight at the top and bottom of the piston, because of piston-rock within the cylinders. Always take your measurement by the wrist-pin. this is the only accepted way to check deck hight!

    rather than mill a head that far, that you would have not enough threads left on the intake side is foolish. you would do better to get a better piston for the job. do it right or don't do it! Al

    never cut an intake except for clean-up purposes. and than just enough to clean up any imperfections. if you cut the cylinder head surface you than cut the intake surface of the head. that way the heads and the intake minafold can be swapped around to different engines without causing problems...

    no need to go more than 10% above exhaust valve size. it just creates turbulance! your Head gureau will tell you the same thing.
