I use a product made by devcon called plastic-welder that works great on plastic grilles,I have been fixing grilles for a while and have found this stuff works.Can find it in a hardware store.

Being that its steel hood,I folded the edges over and attached it with screws.I needed to be able to remove it as I am running a single 4BBL right now and need to make a plate for that also.Winter is getting here and I will be making a new one for it soon.

Painted silver argent in the center square only,kinda follows the pattern to match up with the reverse lights. Heres an original(Not for sale,Sorry)unless someone wants to pay huge $$$ money for it.

One more thing,cover up all glass Foil style windshield sun shades work pretty good and if it catches fire it can be pulled right out and put out.

I went back and read this post again(must of had a brain fart) When I was putting the pan in I found the self tapping screws worked real good for pulling the top seam together. I am actually installing the interior now.

That can be a tough spot as its pretty tight to fit the welding gun up in there with the engine and trans in place.I cut the pan just below it and once the pan was out I removed the spot welds.I also had to make a small repair(can see it in the first pic)
