Another vote for check the engine height, we have a '66 Cuda with a 360, power steering and the same D-450 headers, they clear everything...

it will fit and the speed lines will line up. in high school I put a '66 dart front end on a '64 valiant. Total bolt on. no mods necessary.

I USED A '66 MUSTANG ONE ON MINE. THE CENTER HOLE IS TOO BIG BUT IT SEALS.

it needs to be grounded. usually grounds where it bolts on, but I have added a ground wire where it was needed before.

Well apparently after 54 years the old Cuda gas cap gasket isn't sealing any more. I know this is kind of an early A thing but this is the first time this car has ever leaked out the cap after a fillup. What have you all done to correct this? Does someone make a repop gasket for our original...

If you hit a wall, Early A's have the same K frame for /6 and V8. 273 mounts are VERY easy to adapt to later 318/360 even Magnum!! A"Wanted" post on here would probably net you a set...

Yes on the 318. Small block early A headers are EXPENSIVE!! Like $1K a set. Your 904 wont fit a small block. The 727 will require floorplan mods to fit in an early A. Cannot keep push buttons with that trans either. Will need a different driveshaft. Can keep the 7.25 rear end. At least...

If I was putting a full interior in that car I would put the glass in last. I'd install everything but the front seats/console and THEN the glass. Be a lot nicer to install the carpet/trim/interior panels and rear seat thru that big hole and nicer to put the headliner in with a carpeted floor...

I hade those on my '66 briefly. fit ok with manual steering box. Still have them...

Need to knock it out to replace the rear cam bearing. It's single use like a freeze out plug. And NO ONE had one in stock, or they wanted $20/$30 dollars for it. In reality it's a $2 part, if you can find it!
