How many, have nursed a knocking Rod home?

Back in the 80's my daily was a 72 Scamp with a /6. About 20 miles from home and went to pass a really slow car on the 2 lane highway. Door to door and BANG! Passed him and smoke everywhere. Sounded like a bag of hammers but made it home. #6 rod came right through the block. Swapped motor the...

whats the wierdest things you found in your car

In a 69 Dart GT found a full stubby bottle of Molsons Ex inside the airbox behind the drivers side vent door. Around the neck of the bottle was a mechanics pit pass for the 72 Indy race in Montreal. This was in around 2010.

Selling parts and lack of manners.

When selling I will "hold" something as "sold pending" until I get an other offer. Then guy one gets a short chance to put up or shut up. When buying I decide right away or offer a guy a few (non-refundable) bucks to hold something for a few days.

    Modern day Superbird (picture)

Not bad looking but I imagine that unlike the originals this is more of an appearance option than function. Would I like one? Nope not if I was using MY money. As for the originals, the Superbird is my all time favorite car hands down. Does everyone like the styling with its big nose and crazy...

Guys at the shows and cruises are really rude

Hey Inkjunkie I have to agree. I gotta say my parents raised me to open the door for a lady, carry groceries and mind my P's and Q's all around (or Mom or Dad would have literally kicked my ***). As far as muscle cars and shows go I've owned lots of very nice vehicles (and crappy ones) and...

Guys at the shows and cruises are really rude

OK, I'm not sure if I'm just getting old and grumpy or perhaps not as thick skinned as I used to be. So I figured I'd ask you guys.... Have you noticed that a lot of guys at the shows and cruises are really rude? I'm all for great cars but I really don’t need to belittle others efforts to...

List The Mopars You Missed Out On...

In 1980 I found a 69 Satellite Convertible 440 auto in great driver condition. Guy wanted $400 cash to go partying. It was a Sunday so I gave him $100 and a cheque to hold the car and went searching for a Bank..... Came back an hour later and you guessed it. Car was gone.
