    Interesting. I do sort of the same when replacing a trans or tq converter,install two 8" bolts in the upper bell housing to the motor.It allows for much better alignment of the trans when re assembling.

    Lol and people pay good money for wrenches that are pre bent.. I bought a set of s wrenches for the hard to get spots,but sometimes you need a longer wrench. Heating up and bending a box/open end works.

    This reminds me of my cheap seal driver solution. Went to the muffler shop and grabbed a small chunk of appropriate sized pipe when I was stuck,because seal was bigger than all my sockets. Worked just fine,and much cheaper than a seal driver tool kit.

    Yes mig and tig methods. Tig will always give better results,but all I have is a Mig. Tig just isn't in the budget. Wish it were,it's so versatile and results can be stunning. So the link I provided was for a 2lb spool of cast iron Mig wire. $85...not cheap.

    Best thing to do to your blasting cabinet.

    I hand built my blasting cabinet,with patterns found on the net and leftover wood. I installed an air matress motor to evacuate dust,and a light. I dont recall what ight,some sort of halogen worklight I think.

    If oil wont work the best thing you can try is heating until cherry red and then rapid quench with a cold wet rag. This will absolutely free it up!

    Thats a great idea! I wish I had those when pulling my 8 1/4 diff from my caravelle cop car,as that thing was friggin heavy! At least now I can use the idea for my 8 3/4 in my Dart.. Thanks for sharing!

    Heated floors are the cats azz! RThe best bodyshop I ever worked in was because it had heated floors! Makes it a real pleasure working on your knee's or underneath a car. For me I had to fight to stay awake under the cars. Nice cozy warm floor would lull me off to sleep every time! I guess...
