The one Classic Industries has is not correct for 68 Barracuda. As I posted before it's Barracuda specific. This is what it should look like. I bought an original A body one like the repop one Classic sells. It doesn't work. Different shape.

I believe the cam looks like this. It slides over a square rod that runs through the lower part of the seat back. The cams are attached to the rod with an allen set screw. The cam lifts the locking release latch when the seat release lever is pulled. I have one missing too. good luck in...

68 Barracuda AM/FM'S were dealer installs only according to the sales brochure that's why they are so pricey. Don't know about other years or models though.

I checked my 68 service manual. 68 904s had double wrapped bands.

This might be a little better. Try JEGGS or Summit they may have them.

do you have electronic ignition if so it probable is different. Here's a picture of my 68 Barracuda they are the same. I have points ignition.

I found mine at a swap meet for $10 last summer. It was at an all Mopar car show. The guy had about a 1/2 a dozen of them most where in poor condition. I picked one of the better ones and cleaned it up. They're out there just got to look hard.Took me awhile before I found one.
