I am painting my 71 Demon 440 with John Deere "Blitz Black". It was only $30 a gallon when I bought it last fall. And you can buy it by the spray can or quart. Goes on real easy and I can carry a can of touch up with me. You can Google it to see others who have used it. :burnout:

Back in the early 80's I had a chance to buy a 1970 Challenger RT that was loaded. 440, Auto on floor, Vitamin C paint, Burnt orange interior, 6-way driver seat, Gator Grain vinyl top, sun roof, air conditioning, luggage rack, electric windows, ps, pb, cruise control, AM/FM, & rear defrost...

I can't see the ghost stripe... where is it. Car looks fantastic. I wouldn't change a thing... will maybe a couple... to add my MOPAR crazy touch to it. lol :burnout:

I paid $1,000 for mine over 5 years ago. 58k miles, 6-cylinder car but no motor, and a black interior was the Good. The Bad was no 8 3/4 rear, needs floor patched, new trunk floor, trunk extensions, and 2 rear quarters. The Ugly was the front frame rails rusted out and had to replace the upper...

I like the looks of it. I'm not much for chrome but dam shiny.

A little sand paper, some Scotch-Brite, and Blitz Black from Johnnie Deere in a spray can. Rat Rod in a can. Touches up nice too.

I am using John Deere "Blitz Black", it's like a hot rod matte black. A gallon only costs $31. You can get it in spray cans also. Covers really nice and I'm lovin the matte black look. A friend of mine did the quarters and used a spray gun on the quarters in black primer. I did a little bit...

I have heard both good and bad about the spoiler. I really want one of these spoilers. Guess I will have to wait for another source to reproduce them. :banghead:

I getting closer to melting some tires to. Next big thang is the driveshaft, electric fuel pump, and fuel cell... and having my 3.91s looked at. I more the kid in the glass house with a bat and safety glasses. lol

I bought my tubular K-frame at a swap meet for $600. New Pinto style rack & pinion for $150. Steering linkage from RMS was $175. I still need to buy coil-over springs for the front, $400+. Not cheap but should ride better.

I have 440 TTI 1 7/8" headers in my 1971 Demon and only had to massage the inner passenger side fender well a little. As with all massages... it didn't last long enough. lol Slipped right in with 727 and headers attached. I do have a tubular k-frame also.

Long list... Jumped over a barbed wire fence while streaking then then danced on the picnic table. Jumped out of a moving 4-WD... just missed the back tire with my head. Shot my brother in the arm with a .22 cal rifle while hunting. Shoveling rock in the driveway during a lightning storm...

Jump on the Chevy band wagon with all the aftermarket cheap parts you can buy. Or you can build a complete car from a catalog. A million Chevies out there with more clones on the way. No loyalty anymore. You ain't worth the salt in my tears. lol
