I´ve bought the mil - and it works great with a stock k frame. Lots of clearence arround the frame and the steering - compared to all the clearence issues on a build like this :) 6.1 Hemi 67 Barracuda coupé.

Yes - the bushing have to go. I grinded mine and pulled it out of the crank. I´m using a 2600 stall 727 converter, and it´s plugandplay now. I just had to grind two small tabs off, on the left side of the engine block, to make clearence between the starter and the block.

I go with a 727 SB - With mopar felxplate - so I dont need the spacer. It´s a direct fit. Nice project - 67 barracuda coupé 6,1Hemi/727/8 3/4.. B)

Gdemon - is it 5.7 300c manifold you´r runnin on your 6.1??

Hi. Now I finaly, got my engine. A 6.1L 09. There is just one thing that worrys me - the alternator and the clearence. Is there anybody out there, with the experience with this??? The car - 67 "A" body - 6.1 HEMI Thanks!

Hi. I´ve been told, that I have to get a manual steering for my Plymouth Barracuda if I swap to a Hemi, and want to mount TTI headers. Are there any alternatives so I can keep my powersteering as it is? If the answer to that question is NO - how much do I have to buy? Manual steering box...
