When I launch I pump up my brakes about 5 times and hold them hard before I bring up the revs. If I just pump them twice the tires break loose and the car moves forward before I want it to.

An 8" wide x 26" tall tire would help also. Again are you pumping up the brakes and then standing on them before you bring up the rpms?

Try reducing the air pressure a little bit. Do you have a line lock? Are you pumping the brakes up and then standing on them before launch?

With your old 2.76 gears it was harder to spin those tires. The new gears make it much easier. First off what tires and size are you running? It may be time to step up to a stickier tire. You are probably going to have to make adjustments to your rear suspension also to compensate for those new...

With the new job and all, I think you should get a 8 3/4 for next season.

A automatic valve body is what it says it shifts your gears automatically from the D position. Your automatic car come from the factory with an automatic valve body. You can also shift it manualy 1st 2nd 3rd without any problem. You cannot damage your trans doing this unless of course you over...

I use a Griner rev pat manual valve body on the street no problems. You must be careful with down shifts. Never shift down to 1st if you are rolling over 5 mph never.

You should match the convertor to your combo. also is the car street, street/strip, or strictly strip?

Sorry never heard or seen this problem.

I havs a 3600 stall convert I have to leave it in park for 1/2 a minute before she will move without over revving it. The convert drains down when she sits.

If your pinion angle is off it would be hard to push:-k

Well I am now

If you didn't put the trans in yet, put a 1/2 to 1 quart in the convertor. After you put the trans in throw in 2 more quarts then check your dip stick until it gets the to add a quart mark. Let it warm up check and top of. I don't remember how many quarts total.

I was at the shop Friday it took 20 minutes of turning back and forth with pressure to get the third clunk. And it was on a bench.
