For your information.......If you have a Slant Six with the BBD, or a 273/318 with the same, the correct phenolic spacer is the same as the STROMBERG WW and the ROCHESTER 2G.......... I had "68rrman" on Ebay run the dimensions for me.......He has them available on Ebay. :walk::hello2:

On the 67 Cuda with the basically stock 273 and the Carter BBD 2, I have a problem with gas temps......Hard starting when hot, sometimes boiling the gas......... I'm gonna insulate the lines today and I know it will help, BUT......what I want to know is this....... Until I block the heat...

We still had the canister, but it was gone on the inside.......Kept the hook-ups to the can, and opened up the top vents.....car ran great.

If it was just heat causing the problem, a carb spacer (black poly, not aluminum) will solve your problem. I've found a carb spacer works nicely to cool the carb/gas with or without the problem you mention........I wouldn't be without one.....1/2" works fine for most applications.

According to my research, the Dart for 67 should be the same for the Cuda........... Anyone have different information ?

I can't find a 5/16 fuel sender for my 67 Barracuda ANYWHERE but at the high priced joints at ridiculous prices........... I can find them up to 66, but not for 67.......AND, for DARTS, but not listed as for barracuda......I thought the Cuda's were the SAME as the Darts ????? YES?? NO...

My Holley 650 does the same thing........I use a Torker Intake and a 1/2" insulated riser........don't know if it has anything to do with it.......
