Guys...... How much should I expect to pay to have new valve seals put in a slant 6? What would you say is a fair to average price for the job?

Well, the only slant we have in is my friends Volare wagon.......Super Six, and a good one......just bought a nice rebuilt carb for it........... There are a LOT of threads on this site about the slants.........info. on intakes, carbs, headers, cams, you name it........and some of them...

The carb is the original 2 bbl for the super six........It does not appear to have been rebuilt...........problem is that this is an every day driver, and we can't wait for a rebuild.....we'll need to buy one already done from somewhere. The cat is still on the car, but is short...

Not a swap actually........My buddy's 78 Volare Wagon (sweet original shape) has the super six.......Lots of pep........I'm wondering what else we might do to the six to make it better all around, without sacrificing mileage.......Maybe a header and a better air cleaner assembly? :mrgreen:
