Actually, I have the boot that attaches to the bottom of the top plate on the console. I need the boot that covers the oval hole in the floor hump. This boot helps keep road noise and engine heat from getting into the car.

It got so hot you can see where the 3M glued carpet is starting to come off. I'm wondering if I should take the old nonconsole boot and put that back on then bolt the console over it? There is no way MaMopar made it this way.

Just took the Demon for its first test run today with the new console. After about 10 minutes the console felt like 250 degrees! Is there supposed to be a boot over the shifter under the console? Do I glue the carpet on first or bolt the console in first then glue carpet on? One thought is to glue the carpet on except over the two front mounting screws on the sides...what say you?

I am going to use Seal Bond adhesive to glue a Bbody Pistol Grip boot to the underside of my soon to be restored Abody console.

If you want to run an Ebody Pistol Grip with an Abody console, I have designed and produce an exact offset bracket to do that. If you use my bracket with the Bbody Pistol Grip it sets up too high. I currently sell the bracket thru Gunslinger.com

Has anyone ever made a bracket to mount a Bbody shifter in an Abody car to use with a console. I want to use a Bbody non-console Pistol Grip (with a bracket) with a Abody 4spd console. Somebody on this website made one but I can't find the picture. Any help would be great.

I'm also in the process of putting a 4 spd console in my Demon. Are you saying the base of the console is not fibreglas? I have to fix the rear corner chip.
