If you're worried about the radiator, get it recored w/a 2 row high efficiency unit and keep the originality. I have one in my Dart and no issues in the dead of heat, highway or around town.

Buy a candy cane thermometer, the ones used for baking, like melting chocolate n stuff. It is specific for liquids rather than the one mentioned above for meats. They are pretty accurate.

Lookin for a reputable rad shop in S.E. PA to repair a small leak where the top tank is soldered and to possible install a 3 core (lower tank needs to be widened). I know of Rubendals in Eagleville and Dick's in Pottstown. Any other reputable shops in the area?

The 4 blade fan doesn't help matters either.

No myth. Take it to the nearest lake and skim it off the water. Its junk.

Hope you aren't using a mopar chrome water neck. They are leakers.

For rad hoses, I bent electrical house wire to replicate the hoses and then went to NAPA and scoured the hoses to find ones that match the footprint of the wire.

Check your timing. My total was @40 and came in @2100 rpm, and the temp would creep up close to 210 on the highway. I backed it off to 34 deg w/10 deg initial and disconnected the vacuum adv. 2 hour trip from Carlisle in the heat, it was stuck at 195. Problem solved.
