Well it sounds like you had the answer to your original question of what k frame is this.... I think your question should have been that you have a modified k frame to supposedly hold a big block and should it be trusted. To that, the general consensus is probably "no".

If you have a 4" backspace now and go to a 3.5" backspace, you'd be moving the whole thing out a half inch, putting the tire into the wheel lip more. You want to go to a 4.5" backspace, to move the tire inward toward the spring and away from the wheel lip....

found the same car online. front shot you can see the mounting bolts on the bottom. I think you are correct, the top 2 holes are for bumperettes.

Nothing to the car physically, but we did pick up a running 904 from a 72 318 Duster for Josh's 73 Sprt "Fred" for 100 bucks. It will lay in the corner of the garage for a year and get a basic rebuild/refresh when the time comes to put the driveline together.

When I ran the fender tag on my son's 73 Dart Sport, part of it told us what day the car was built. Does 70 not have the same codes on the fender tag? If so, run it thru a decoder.

I would think rubber body plugs. Not really any different than the rubber plugs in our trunks, right?
