My brother had a 66 Sport Fury ragtop with a plastic rear window. He was told to unzip it before lowering the top. My 69 Fury III ragtop has a glass rear window and I have never unzipped my window to lower the top. Btw - I found my top on ebay 15 years ago for 100 bucks. New old replacement...

Wont be to that point for a few yrs on my 68 Bcuda..... but the rear glass in my 69 Fury has never been unzipped and goes up and down with the top just fine for 12 years now. "They" recomemd unzipping it for lowering/raising, and it is a good idea... ive just been to lazy to walk the aft deck...

About 13 years ago, I bought mine for the Fury on ebay for $100. Was left over stock from a trim shop that had closed. At the same time, Mopar Muscle ran an article on a top replacement on a B-body. I figured a C-body is just a little bigger and the process should be the same. That and for $100...

69 Fury - original owner gave it to me as a basket case..... Been together for 8 years now and I still have not got the seats done.....
