I took a spare console and removed front plate and got some stainless marine cup holders from Academy Sports and made a platet to hold them. It sits in there without being tied down so it is easy to take out if need to work under dash

didn't know if there was any more adjusting since it was converted to fm. Most of the time I am listening to that music from the 499" but on longer trips it would be nice

I have thought of Ward's to see if there is anything they thought they could adjust without the big $$$. I could hand carry it to them since they are in upper end of state.

where did you send it? I had mine converted many years ago by a guy in Texas but can't find him now. Mine drifts off station and can't fine tune it with the screw behind tuning knob. Would like for it to work like it is supposed to with out having to adjust tuning knob all the time.

I had my original 67 GTS am radio converted to FM stereo by The Radio Man from DFW area about 16-17 years ago. It drifts off the station and I can't seem fine tune it with the little screw behind the tuning knob. Any suggestions?

yes, but mine is several years old and display is different. I had the original one in my GTS converted to FM but it drifts off station a lot. The Secret Audio is a lot cheaper and better too so If I can't get it fixed I will probably go with Secret Audio in it too

I am not around car now but the only thing you see is the small display mounted under ashtray area and the remote. It does a good job. I still have the original so you can't really tell that it is not the one working. You can mount it anywhere out of sight.

I had an old console and the "decoy" 67 GT came with buckets and column shift so I made this and it will sit still without bolting down. If I need to do anything under the dash I can just set it out of the way

I went to Academy Sports and bought the stainless cup holders that I have in mine. My Gt has column shift so I made a plate to fit when shifter was and still have the storage in back. Having trouble finding my pics.

I had thought about changing to floor shift but then I thought of this and I really like it as it gives me storage in back for papers and pistol out of sight. The console sits in place without moving or being bolted down so I can just pick it up and set it out of the way to work under dash
