If you want a cleaner look, I fail to see the appeal of the flip top cap....much larger, plus it sticks out. If you have the factory correct cap, it should be pretty well flush, and body color....

All you would have after all that front clip swapping, is basically a Plymouth scamp clone.

The "crisp" looking ones look correct to me..... and I have never seen a 71 Duster with those emblems. 70 swinger 340 used them, and I think 71 Demon 340s had them also.

Trust me, if you compare your orig scoop to ANY of the repops, you will see a big difference. I have had a number of the repops and I allways sell them and keep the orig ones for my stash.

That is BAD, and until you strip the car compleatley and have it blasted, you wont know HOW much rust is in it. Bondo over top of that is a waste of time, all rust cut out, and all metal media blasted is the ONLY correct way to fix that car....Sorry to bring bad news, but been through all that...

If you want it to look like a 72, its gonna take more than a front and rear clip..The doors are different inside, plastic panel on top instead of metal, same thing above rear door panels, 73s have no vent windows, so door glass is obviously different... don't know how far your wanting to go with it
