the paint code is B3 if I recall. also called basin street blue some years

thanks for the help. I thought it as coded as 999 on the tag??? I thought B3 was a sivery greyish blue like I had on some B bodies????

Depends on the year of your car, after I think '72 it is TB3 on the fendertag. Yes B3 is a silvery light blue like found on some B-bodies.

The light silvery blue is EB3 aka Light Blue Poly in Dodge and Ice Blue Poly Plymouth. It was first offered in 1969, hence the prefix "E." It was only offered in 1969 & 1970 and could be had on any body style not just B-Bodies.

Basin Street Blue AKA Blue Streak AKA Petty Blue is TB3. It was first offered in 1966 as a "999" special order color and did not appear as a regular paint code until 1972. The thought is that it got a "T" prefix because the mix was made up sometime around 1963

thanks for all the info. most of my experience has been over the years with b bodies BILL
