I USE WESTCOAST PLATING... 714-557-4524 THEY WILL GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE.. but i can tellyou that if they are quite pitted.. they will be quite expensive.. probably in excess of 400 per side...

dash red, package tray red. seats TAN w cloth center? I AM Not sure how that goes together.. i am wondering if this was changed..black rubber mat... anyone have any pics of interior/door panels etc that i can use for reference?

yea so much for the V8 wild color and snazy interior... big wheels and tires but.. she did have a crazy idea to put an underdash a/c unit in the car

i kinda remember in the late 70's changing a 170 to a 225... the flex plate gave me trouble. i had to grind out the center area to make it fit. jeez the crazy things we do when we are kids

i think i will keep the /6 keeps it simple..and go with a 225

the motor i have is from the late 80's /6 so the oil pan and pickup tube, manifold etc linkage all swap from the 170 to the 225.?.. where might i find a pilot bushing.. i hate sounding dumb.. but the /6 is new to me.. been a member of the v8 old school kinda guy forever.. thanks

ok so i just picked up an early a. 62 lancer.. 170 auto. i have restored many later a bodies 1967-1972 not sure if i wanna swap a v8 or a bigger /6 any suggestions.. i have access to newer /6 and 318 or 360 but i want to keep the pushbutton(that part is new to me)

i also use a guy in cali for all my trinket pieces.. its the same plater that rick dale from american restoration uses. i have had very good success with them.. even pot metal pieces.. but pot metal plating is pricey

there is a local guy here who does the spray chrome.. he has very good success with it.. the local bikers love this place. he has many colors to choose from

i have antique tags on my dart(the one in my pic) all i did was take stock hubcaps from a 70 dart. put duct tape around the rim of the hubcap so i wouldnt scratch anything.. then made a big ball of duct tape for the center.. and put 2 on.. snapped a pic.. took a pic of the rear of the car then...

i have powdercoated some... (color of the car) or even a black chrome looking type of color.. to each their own. ya know.. personally i would rechrome them. i deal with a place in california. they do all my pot metal rechroming, and alum. chrome plating. its not cheap.. you get what you pay...

i used spectra. there are only 1 or 2 places that make these tanks.. i think your local keystone/lkq could probably hook you up..

i have installed all panels from about anywhere.. some take a little more finessing than others. and the black edp panels could come from anywhere.. a lot of american and taiwann factories use the edp coating.

i sell the good mark stuff and the well.. all the stuff. i personally have used all of it.. i would use laysons. the edp panels are ok.. but, you are talking about a small difference in price.. the labor to install is probably the same.. go with laysons just my opinion.
