    Snow

About 16 inches here! But the overnight temp increase was great. Around 11:00pm, there was a change over the snow melting pretty good as the storms front went north and the warmer oceans air moved in. You could listen to the what almost sounded like rain. Early use of the snow blower and...

    Locations

Starting here on FABO is a good move. There are a few guys from Vt. It may be helpful to include the clubs area to a New England wide club rather than just Vt. Since the states are small by compare to the rest of the country. Traveling from state to state should not be a huge issue unless the...

    is ohio in this region?

The Northeast area is comprised of NJ, Penn, NY, Delaware & Maryland. Many people tend to include the New England states in the Northeast which would be incorrect. New England states would include Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.

    New from pa

LOL! I understand that in a big way. Myself and my son in law. (Currently 22 & a hell of a mechanic!) Pick up a book or two. The Mopar engines and chassis books are a good start. There are various back books on Holley carbs.

    New from pa

Sound funny? Nope! Not at all. I think it a wise move. As well as sensible. No sense jumping into something with two feet into strange waters. Finding a guy that can walk you through and show you things before you break them or screw with it is smart. BUT! You and Dad must learn how to tune the...

    Long island,NY guys.

While that may be true, all that was heard was, "I seen a hot rod go speeding by, I think it came from the train station, Inthink that was the car that hit him, it was really moving fast!" And that is all they needed to hear.

  15. rumblefish360

    Long island,NY guys.

In a sense, the town has a finger in the pie. IDK how they worked it out exactly and what is exactly what. BUT, If for example, you wanted to do 100' Drag's at Bellmore Train station, it would be part LIRR and part town of Hempstead and part Bellmore Chamber of Commerce. This is the problem. To...

    Long island,NY guys.

Oh, my so very bad. Sorry about that. The raceway should have. Certainly hopped on board! I agree! I do remember that accident with the kid. Damn shame. Damn shame!
  17. rumblefish360

    Long island,NY guys.

If you, the powers that be, explained it to the rail road, you spoke to deaf ears from the get go. Believe me. They, the LIRR, have a clue, but it isn't to there advantage. They knew this from jump street. They figured they would listen to you and perhaps see what there dealing with. They hoped...

    Long island,NY guys.

It is a Insurance/public relations nightmare. The gathering at the station is something they would like to rid themselves of, quietly. Without any trace of there wish. Yea, no doubt!
  19. rumblefish360

    Long island,NY guys.

Yes, I know many of the members and I have to agree, there are some real excellent people there. Ya got that right. Though I'm surprised the shock of traffic and taxes has worn off. LOL, sometimes. Then again, I guess that is why I host 50+ people BBQ's a couple times a year. What the...
