I'm in the same place, can not pay a shop to do all of the work. Thats why I want to paint the door jambs and engine bay myself. And when it does go to a shop some of the steps will be taken care of.

Well I need to get a driveshaft (no 2 piece driveshafts) that was used for an A500/A518 overdrive trans. That might be better info.

Been a long time since I needed to get a used driveshaft at a junkyard. So bare with me. The older mopars used (4) 7/16 headed fine thread bolts to hold the straps . Do the newer Dodge truck use the same stuff ??? Don't want to find out I need metric tools/ or Torx drive tools to pull a driveshaft.

Here is the tag from the old compressor motor. Should have done this from the start. But I have never added pictures easier than I thought. Also the shaft is 5/8" and the motor ran CCW as viewed from the front.

the largest they sell is listed as a 3HP. Not sure it would hold up. I guess that HF use to sell a 5HP, but no longer lists them.
