Putting together my shifter from brand new parts I’ve got online looks like bottom rod is too short. Does anyone have photos of the underside of the shifter where it attaches to the transmission? Any pictures would be great!

do these consoles ride more to the driver side? Just off center? Seems like you need more room on the passenger side.... anybody?

thanks... got the measurements from rear seat.... just weird that it flaots way above the hump....and the wings of the console stick out without anything underneath it....

The point is it just isn't laying flat. It's way off the hump. The cup holder is floating. So that's not the issue. I kept it loose so I can pull it out to clean

Putting a 66 and up console in my 65 Barracuda.... we redid the floors and hump and it doesnt seem to want to fit.... should it be laying like this? Tons of room...I know it gets trim rugs... the metal extension in first picture seems to keep it more to drivers side... and the front of...

that Rust Oleum bed liner actually isnt the toughest stuff since its not catalyzed, but it does work well on a lot things...using it on the console as well....

Had them in today...for a test...but will have them permanently by end of the week...waiting on my speakers to show up...they are low profile so shouldnt have any issues....

love this...wish I had seen this earlier...just made kick panels with speakers and started my console today... I will post pics on another thread later on...

if I wanted to spend a week on it I was going to fiberglass... but these are good enough... there is a nice textured finish and some transition from extension to the board...thanks!

Lost my kick panels in Hurricane Sandy so decided yo make my own kick panels...used some 1/8 board and cut out shape ...shape provided by member here... Bought some 1 inch speaker extensions to house my slim profile speakers... Glues them in with epoxy and added quick set gel epoxy to build...

any thoughts? Should I just use a 64 harness, and use a 65 firewall junction box?
