    In the future I'm going with the virtually indestructible 9". Your going to have to shorten housing, axles, etc. I want a street strip set up and a set of 1/8 mile gears. The 8 3/4 is getting so expensive and the parts for the 9" are to numerous to count.

    Doesn't Mopar offer a reusable reinforced pan gasket for the 904. I thought I saw it on a FABO post.

    Exploding Torqueflites

    Not all "race versions" are alike. Read Chris's article. Depends on the builder. If yours does not have the L/R band apply you are susceptible. 727's can explode. I've seen it.

    I have never installed an auxiliary trans cooler as most of my hot rods have been manual. Radiator 1st then through the auxiliary cooler or vise versa or straight radiator and a larger independent cooler?

    Future plans are removing the .030 over 340 with the new Mopar Performance 440 Super Cammando crate engine, 727 w/trans brake and 3400-3800 converter, slicks and then go big block huntin'.

    I'm assuming that "green bearings are ball type vs tapered roller. Is that a correct assumption? What shade of green are they? Would they match my Duster? LOL
