Thanks everyone for the quick replies! I've made it home. I was getting voltage but no amps I think. It's either the ignition switch or the terminal connector. Would I have headlights even if the ignition switch is bad?

I have a pretty wild cammed 340. It was running a FBO ignition but it failed for some reason. I'm waiting on a replacement. In the meantime is it safe to run the stock ignition box just for around 50 miles of street driving over 2 days?
