I had the kickdown kit and got the brcket for it in my last Mopar, if I get the kickdown kit again I think I will make my own bracket. i found the Lokar one kept moving around and I just couldn’t get it to,work properly Cheers Anthony

G'day all Just got my new transmission installed and am about to put in a new Lokar dipstick but it doesn't look right. The end of the dipstick with the high and low markings doesn't project out of the receptacle piece (per the attached photo). Is this right? Cheers Anthony

Thanks everyone, you guys are awesome. I will leave the engine in and I am working in a good size garage so all is good there. I already have the pan off so no probs there either. Thanks again, a few weeks until the trans arrives so ill let you know how I go. Regards Anthony

G'day FABO's, I need to replace the trans in my Aussie Valiant and am curious as to the best way to do it. Should I take the engine and tans out as a unit, swap the trans over and slot it all back in or leave the engine in and remove the trans on its own? It is a 360 / 727 combo...

G'day Richie, I was looking at B&M transmissions recently (ended up going with a Coan - better value). When you buy the transmission it doesn't come with any shifter/linkages so you can hook up youe exisinting linkages, beit a floor or column shifter. regards Anthony
