Parts aren't going to be easy to come by. The aftermarket is pretty much non-existant for a '62 Valiant, although Legendary might have some of the interior stuff. You'll have to scour the junkyards. They are one of the best looking Mopars ever made, though, so good luck.

A 330 DeSoto Hemi would be very desirable for 2 kinds of people; someone who is restoring a DeSoto and hot rod guys. The old hot rod guys (like those over on the HAMB) would eat that thing up. If it is complete and turns over, I would say $400 is about right.

It sounds like you are thinking about it a little too much. There are 2 kinds of sure grip units; the clutch type and the cone type. The clutch type is generally considered to be more desireable, but I've never had any problems with a cone type. These 2 sure grip units can be interchanged...

The last few tanks I've purchased have been from Vans Auto (http://www.vansauto.com/fueltanks.html). They run about $120-140. They're the same as the $500 Year One tanks except for the vent pipe (on some anyway). It doesn't affect how anything fits though.
